I had a chance to teach phoneme c and k by using jolly phonics song recently. This is suitable for Linus pupils as multi sensory technique is applied during pdpc during induction set.

DIY whiteboard

I made this one below purposely for my pupils to use in writing.

What do you need?

• Laminating plastics
• A4 plain papers
• permanent markers ( blue and red)
• Laminate machine/ cloth iron

What are the steps?

• First, draw blue and red lines using permanent markers on A4 paper.
• Then, insert the papers in laminating plastics.
• Finally, laminate them using a machine/ cloth iron. If you use an iron please cover the plastic using cloth.

How to use?

• Provide each student a DIY board
• Teach them mechanics of writing using the board.
