Harry Potter muslim for fancy dress competition

My daughter took part in a fancy dress competition. I did not buy the costume nor borrow it from somewhere. Eventually, we used what we found in the house 😂😂 except for a witch hat , I bought it from Shopee for RM7. Let's take a look at the costume.

Basically, my daughter wore a school uniform and a school tie. Then, I covered her with a black sweater and a black shawl. To attach everything, safety pins are needed. Then, I printed out Gryffindor logo and laminate it. I just use a safety pin to attach to it. Finally, the prop of magic wand. My eldest daughter did this. She used papers, glue and water colour to form the wand.  My daughter won the second place. She really had fun.

ANGKLUNG FOR PRIMARY PUPILS

Angklung is very a popular musical instrument from South East Asia.  I've experienced playing Angklung with kids a few weeks ago. It was such a fun. 

Basically Angklung per set contains 40 instruments with different notes.  So, each pupil will only focus to play his own Angklung. Then, all combined together becoming  a nice melody.

Who taught angklung? The school invited a private teacher and explain the lesson well to the music teachers. In addition, he gave a few musical books as teachers' reference.   

I'm not a music teacher. I just want to be involved in the activity. The experiences is priceless.

There are a few size of Angklung. This is the big one.

Aladdin role play

It was 1.8.2019.My class performed a play of Aladdin.I chose the story from Pink Fong and used the audio so that the pupils can mime according to the audio.

The setting place and props. 

I tried to use paper bags to paste the pictures of inside the cave using poster printing setting. It was successful. Then, a slightly minor problem appeared. The block paper is quite soft and couldn't stand nicely on the stage.

Paleontology activity CEFR year 2 (Skeleton)

This is a language art project. The reason why I chose Paleontology is to give knowledge of how Paleontologist work and the importance to preserve the fossils found for the purpose of research and history.

I asked the pupils to buy the fossils From Mr.DIY. The range price is +RM4.50. 

The learning objectives are to do a paleontology project, identify the type of dinosaurs and write a brief description of the dinosaurs found

I did an activity of singing and having a fashion show at the same time. The song that I used is "She'll be coming around the mountain" and I changed it into " She'll be wearing.."

Tips pemudahcaraan pelaksanaan PBD tahap 1

Saya share cara saya melaksanakan PBD tahap 1. Lain orang lain caranya. Pilih yang paling sesuai dengan naluri dan jiwa kita. Jika kita sebati dengan cara menulis maka gunakan kertas dan tulis. Jika anda sukakan IT  maka taiplah instrumen dan borang bagai di dalam komputer.  Apa yang penting dokumentasi perekedon perlu ada.

Ada orang tanya saya, boleh share tak bahan, borang, bahan-bahan pentaksiran. Saya bukan kedekut tetapi kelas dan aras murid kita berbeza mana mungkin bahan saya sesuai dengan murid anda. Improvisasi  bahan adalah sangat sesuai but not tiru bulat-bulat. Come on, kita kan cikgu Malaysia. Eh eh.. terbebel sorry.. 

So, this what I do. First, jika kita ingin mentaksir murid pada hari berikutnya maka persiapkanlah lesson plan kita dengan meletakkan cara pentaksiran seperti di bawah:

Selepas step pentaksiran sudah ada di dalam lesson plan, kita perlu sediakan dokumen instrumen pula. Pilih yang mana sesuai dan suka di hati. Ada pelbagai jenis instrumen boleh rujuk buku PBD yang dikeluarkan oleh kerajaan. Antaranya catatan anekdot, lembaran kerja, pentaksiran lisan guru- murid dan lain-lain.  Konsep saya senang. Buat dahulu. Betul dan salah cerita lain, Pegawai datang pantau, kalau kita salah kerja dia yang perlu betulkan kita. Yang penting buat. Jangan tak buat. So this is how I do. Contoh salah satu borang instrumen :-

Isi dulu butiran pentaksiran untuk esoknya

item-item untuk pentaksiran dan evidence biarkan kosong

Borang transit: tulis tarikh dan kemahiran sahaja. selepas taksir isi dalam borang instrument dan nilai masukkan tahap penguasaan di dalam ruangan. Saya sudah taksir ( kerana itu sudah ada tahap penguasaan murid). 

Semua kerja saya lakukan di dalam google drive. Bagaimana saya buat. Mari saya tunjukkan.

Create lagi dua folder di dalam folder PBD tadi

Folder borang transit: masukkan borang transit kelas yang diajar

Di dalam folder instrument create folder untuk kelas-kelas yang diajar

Di dalam kelas, create folder bulan, jan, feb etc

Contoh di dalam folder Januari, masukkan instrumen pentaksiran januari di sini

Oleh kerana saya menggunakan komputer dan internet bagi mengisi dapatan pentaksiran, maka sewaktu pentaksiran lisan misalnya saya akan buka komputer dan terus taip nama murid -murid yang melaksanakan pentaksiran dan mengikut kriteria ditetapkan. 

Saya rasa cara ini lebih mudah. Mungkin sebab saya suka komputer dan paperless.
